About the Role

Are you passionate about helping others succeed and grow? Do you thrive in creating safe, engaging, and supportive learning environments where every individual feels valued and understood? If you are dedicated to making a positive impact on young people’s lives, this could be the opportunity for you.

In this role, you will be a vital part of a collaborative team, working alongside teachers, the SENDCO, and other staff to support students’ academic and personal development. You will help create an inclusive and positive atmosphere where students feel safe, motivated, and excited to learn. Whether providing one-to-one support or assisting in small groups, you’ll help students develop key skills, build their confidence, and achieve their individual goals.

Your daily responsibilities will include assisting with lesson preparation, developing resources, and helping students engage with learning activities. You’ll support their social, emotional, and academic growth by explaining instructions, offering help in areas such as literacy or behaviour, and encouraging independence. You’ll also assist in implementing individual education and behaviour plans, ensuring that each child’s unique needs are met.

Beyond the classroom, you will play a role in the wider school community, promoting positive behaviour, setting up displays of students’ work, and participating in school events and meetings. You will also work closely with families and external agencies to strengthen the partnership between home and school, ensuring that each child receives the support they need.

Safeguarding and well-being will be at the heart of everything you do. You will maintain confidentiality, follow all child protection policies, and provide a safe and respectful environment for students to thrive.

As part of a dynamic and supportive educational community, you will join a team committed to high standards and providing opportunities for every student. With access to ongoing professional development and support from an experienced team, you will have everything you need to grow in your career.

If you’re ready to bring your passion, creativity, and commitment to a role where you can truly make a difference, we would love to hear from you. Together, we can help every student find their passion, reach their potential, and build a bright future.
