About the Role
Learning Support Assistant – Inclusive Primary School
Location: Barking and Dagenham
Salary: £90 per day (PAYE)
Contract: Temp to Perm

We are working with a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Barking and Dagenham that is looking for a Learning Support Assistant who can make a meaningful difference to pupils with additional needs. About the Role
This role offers the chance to work closely with a child who requires consistent, compassionate support throughout their school day.
You will be:
- Providing one-to-one support to a pupil with additional needs
- Supporting communication and emotional regulation through tailored strategies
- Assisting with lesson delivery, adapting resources to suit the child’s needs
- Collaborating with the SENCO and teaching staff to implement EHCP targets
- Creating a calm, positive, and structured learning environment
- Celebrating every step forward—because progress looks different for everyone
Who You Are
- You may already have experience working with children with SEND—or you may be new but bring the right mindset and enthusiasm
- You’re calm under pressure, flexible in your approach, and understand that consistency is key
- You believe in inclusive education and that every child deserves the support they need to succeed
- You enjoy being part of a team and thrive in a setting where people work together and support each other
