The Role

  • Lead and coordinate SEND provision across the school for two days per week (any days that fit your schedule)

  • Work closely with SLT, teachers, and support staff to identify and meet pupil needs

  • Maintain oversight of EHC plans, ensuring they are implemented effectively and reviewed regularly. Coordinate Annual Reviews

  • Advise on strategies and provision to support pupils’ progress and wellbeing

  • Build strong relationships with families, external agencies, and professionals to provide holistic support

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring statutory compliance

  • Holds the National Award for SEN Coordination, or willing to work towards it

  • Confident leading SEND provision with up-to-date knowledge of legislation and best practice
