This is a purpose built SEMH school with extensive resources and a tailored environment to support the curriculum. As you arrive, a bright spacious atrium reception welcomes you. It is obvious the school has been designed to deliver an inspiring environment for both pupils and the teaching teams. The school is currently building to capacity, yet even when full, the model of very small classes will be maintained. The classes themselves are ability based, giving a greater opportunity for shared progress amongst the students.
The headteacher is focussed on supporting each member of staff with a CPD structure that keeps you learning and developing in your own role. She listens to her teams and knows what is needed when. As the school continues to build to its full potential, so will the teaching teams who are currently shaping the environment.
If you are transitioning from a mainstream environment or and ECT, the school will of course guide you through SEN training and tailoring curriculums as appropriate.
