About the Role
Primary Teacher - PRU
Pupil Referral Unit - Primary Provison
MPS–UPS3 Inner London | Full time | Temp to Perm
Working as a primary school teacher, your days will be filled with purpose. You already know that relationships matter. Creating a place where children can thrive requires patience, understanding, and dedication. Yet, reaching those who need the most support in a mainstream classroom often feels impossible. You’re stretched too thin, and you may be starting to lose sight of the reason you became a teacher. Perhaps it’s time for a role where your impact can be truly felt.
We are working with a Pupil Referral Unit, supporting children in their primary provision who have found mainstream education overwhelming, unsuitable, or emotionally unsafe. They need compassionate, grounded, and resilient teachers who see past behaviour to the child underneath.
Here, small class sizes allow meaningful relationships to flourish. Success is measured not just in academic progress, but in trust built, confidence restored, and milestones celebrated. Every child receives a curriculum tailored to their individual strengths, challenges, and emotional needs.
You may already have experience working with SEMH pupils. You may simply have the heart for it. What matters is your calm, curiosity, flexibility, and belief that every child can thrive when they feel safe.
This is a role for teachers who understand behaviour as communication, work creatively, and are ready to join a team that refuses to give up on its pupils.
If you are ready to be challenged, to grow, and to make a real difference in children’s lives, we would love to hear from you.
