A well-respected Pupil Referral Unit in Harrow is seeking a dedicated PRU Science Teacher to join their specialist team. The provision supports learners who cannot currently access mainstream education, including pupils with SEMH needs, behavioural challenges and those who have experienced significant disruption or trauma. This role requires a patient, resilient practitioner who can inspire trust and re-engage students in their learning.

Who We’re Looking For

  • QTS/QTLS is required

  • Strong at forming positive, trusting relationships while maintaining clear boundaries

  • Confident delivering Science up to GCSE

  • Able to adapt lessons creatively to engage reluctant learners and meet diverse emotional, behavioural and academic needs

  • Skilled in calm, structured behaviour management that promotes respect and positive choices

  • Passionate about helping pupils rebuild confidence and achieve meaningful progress
