This specialist provision supports pupils who cannot access mainstream education, including those with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH) and pupils who may have been out of education for extended periods. Many learners have faced significant trauma, so a calm, consistent and resilient approach is essential.

Type of Candidate We Are Looking For:

  • QTS/QTLS is essential

  • Able to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils while maintaining clear professional boundaries and promoting a positive attitude to learning

  • Excellent knowledge of the national Science curriculum up to GCSE

  • Confident in adapting lessons to engage reluctant learners and meet a wide range of emotional, behavioural and academic needs

  • Skilled in behaviour management, using a calm and structured approach that encourages respect and positive choices
