Split Shift: 7:30am–9:30am & 2:30pm–9:00pm

We are looking for a Residential Care Officer to join a truly exceptional team. With small class sizes, shared mealtimes, and dedicated residential support, this school is a place where staff and students thrive together.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting individual students with their social, emotional and behavioural development

  • Creating a secure yet stimulating environment that supports both education and leisure

  • Offering guidance on life skills – from hygiene and relationships to household routines

  • Accompanying children to appointments and activities – such as doctor visits, shopping or community outings

  • Monitoring student wellbeing and contributing to reports and observations

  • Working within small, homely residential houses where children live Monday–Friday in customised spaces that promote independence

  • Encouraging engagement in evening activities like swimming, cinema, bowling and sports

  • Supporting students in accessing top-quality facilities including a music studio, swimming pool, and even an on-site farm
