Your role as a School-Based Youth Worker You will play a vital role in helping pupils feel safe, understood and motivated to engage with education. Many of the young people you support may present with challenging behaviour, emotional regulation difficulties, or have experienced trauma. Your presence will help them develop confidence, self-control and positive relationships. Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, pastoral leads and external professionals, you will help students overcome barriers to learning and achieve personal success.
