SEMH Teacher – Small Nurturing Setting – Richmond
Full-time during term time – September Start – Open to Unqualified Teachers
Long-Term to Permanent, PAYE in line with MPS Outer London; £186.73 - £248.88 PAYE

We are working in partnership with a growing specialist provision in Richmond, part of a highly respected multi-academy trust known for its commitment to inclusive education. This is an exciting opportunity for a resilient and compassionate SEMH Teacher to join a nurturing team and help shape the future of a small setting that supports KS3 and KS4 pupils accessing the national curriculum at primary level.
The opportunity - SEMH Class Teacher
- Full-time teaching role starting in September
- Working with KS3 and KS4 pupils, delivering a primary-style, national curriculum education
- Focused on supporting students with SEMH needs, many of whom also have Autism and ADHD
- Part of a wider trust known for its inclusive, therapeutic, and trauma-informed approach
- A unique chance to join a close-knit, highly supportive team at an early stage of the provision’s development
What we’re looking for
- SEMH and neurodiversity experience is essential – you must understand the needs of pupils with Autism, ADHD, and associated mental health challenges
- A calm, consistent teaching style and emotionally intelligent approach
- Trauma-informed mindset and a strong belief in second chances
- Flexibility and creativity – this is a small provision where no two days are the same
- Qualified Teacher Status is welcome but not essential – experienced unqualified teachers are encouraged to apply
