About the Role:

As a Primary Teacher in this innovative therapeutic school, you will work within a team-teaching environment to support students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and trauma. This unique role offers the opportunity to be part of a nurturing and supportive educational setting, dedicated to helping children overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging and effective lessons tailored to the individual needs of students.
  • Collaborate with other teachers, support staff, and therapists to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching strategies to support students with SEMH needs and trauma.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and adjusting teaching methods as necessary.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where all students feel valued and supported.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience working with primary-aged children, particularly those with SEMH needs and trauma.
  • Strong understanding of therapeutic and inclusive educational practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
