Role: SEMH Teaching Assistant
Start Date: November 3rd
Location: Newham
Contract Type: Long Term Temp
Pay: £90.00 to £100.00 Per day (PAYE)
Are you a strong and resilient SEMH Teaching Assistant looking for a challenging and rewarding role?
We are currently working with a fantastic SEMH Specialist Secondary School in Newham, who are seeking passionate SEMH Teaching Assistants to join their team.
This is a therapeutic school to support secondary aged students that don't have access to mainstream school due to behaviour, trauma, anxiety, or special needs. They believe that every child deserves an education and they never give up! You will be working alongside SALTs, OTs and EPs to support the children.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working within a Secondary school as a SEN / SEMH Teaching assistant or Teaching Assistant
- Previous experience with SEMH, Autism, ADHD or other SEND
- Previous experience supporting Secondary aged students with Special Educational Needs
- A friendly and positive person with a resilient personality

You must hold minimum 2 years of experience within an SEMH or school setting with SEMH students to be considered for this role, you would also need to complete our compliance process before going into the school to trial.
