Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards achieving QTS. Experience working within a special school or special educational provision. Strong understanding of SEND, including autism, speech and language difficulties, sensory processing needs, and behavioural challenges. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong understanding of SEN and the strategies to support diverse learning needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Empathy, patience, and a flexible approach to supporting students. Confidence in managing and supporting students in a classroom setting. Relevant qualifications in education, special education, or a related field are desirable.
