Are you a strong and resilient SEMH Teaching Assistant looking for a challenging and rewarding role?
We are currently working with a fantastic SEMH Specialist Secondary School in Greenwich, who are seeking passionate SEMH Teaching Assistants to join their team on a temp to perm basis!
You would be part of a dynamic team that strive to ensure that pupils have every opportunity to succeed! Pupils receive a tailored curriculum based in one “home room” with the same Teacher and TA to provide consistency and stability for pupils.
Requirements for SEMH Teaching Assistants:
- Previous experience working within a Secondary school as a SEMH Teaching Assistant or Teaching Assistant
- Previous experience with Autism, ADHD or other SEND
- Previous experience supporting secondary students with Special Educational Needs
- A friendly and positive person with a resilient personality

Proven experience in delivering interventions in Maths, English, and emotional development.
A strong understanding of strategies to support students with anxiety, anger management, and self-regulation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with students.
Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to addressing students' needs.
A relevant qualification in education or child development is desirable but not essential.
