About the Role

SEN LSA - Greenwich – Make a Real Difference

Greenwich
£85-100 per day - PAYE (no hidden umbrella costs)
Immediate start

Are you a compassionate and proactive individual looking to support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Do you have an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) background or experience working with children with Autism (ASC) and complex needs? If so, this could be the ideal SEN LSA role for you.

A mainstream primary school in Greenwich seek a SEN LSA for a specialist SEND class, supporting eight children who require high levels of support. Due to a shortage of special school places, these children would typically be in a dedicated SEND setting. This is a highly rewarding opportunity, particularly suited to those who thrive in a play-based, nurturing environment.

What the SEN LSA role offers:

  • Work with a small, close-knit group of eight children, all of whom have limited verbal communication and complex needs.
  • A fantastic learning environment – A large, well-equipped classroom with a secure outdoor play space designed for sensory learning.
  • A strong and supportive team – Work alongside four experienced TAs, with a SENCO and teacher providing additional support as needed.
  • Practical experience – Support personal care needs, including nappy changing and early toilet training.
  • Free parking – A rare benefit in London.

To thrive in this SEN LSA you will have:

  • Experience or a strong interest in SEND, Autism, or EYFS settings.
  • A proactive, caring, and patient approach.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs and helping them thrive.

Hours:

8:30am – 3:30pm, with a 30-minute lunch break
