Salary: MPS/UPS + Inner London Weighting - £207.75 - £268.81

Parker Smith Inclusion is working in partnership with a specialist SEN school in Inner London to find a passionate and resilient SEN Teacher to lead a KS2 class of 8 pupils with:

Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
-
Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
-
High sensory processing needs
-
And a number of pupils presenting with complex behaviour that requires consistent, therapeutic support
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher (QTS essential) who is confident in delivering a highly personalised, engaging curriculum to children with significant additional needs.
The Role:
-
Teaching a small, well-supported KS2 class (8 pupils) working significantly below age-related expectations

Planning engaging, multisensory lessons that support communication, emotional regulation, and independence

Leading a team of experienced support staff (TAs) in delivering consistent and nurturing routines

Creating and implementing individualised learning and behaviour support plans

Working closely with the school’s therapeutic team (e.g., SALTs, OTs) to ensure a holistic approach
We’re Looking For:
-
A qualified teacher with QTS – this is an essential requirement
-
Proven experience (or a deep commitment) to working with pupils with SLD, Autism, and challenging behaviours
-
A calm, consistent teaching style with a creative and flexible approach to curriculum delivery

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills, with an emphasis on positive behaviour support

Passion for inclusive education and a deep belief in the potential of every learner
