Are you a dedicated and creative teacher with a passion for inclusive education? Our school is seeking a talented and enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join our supportive and forward-thinking team.

Our school is a vibrant special school for pupils aged 7 to 18 with a range of additional needs, including Autism, moderate learning difficulties, speech and language needs, and social, emotional and mental health needs. They are committed to unlocking the potential of every learner through tailored, engaging, and ambitious teaching.

The Role:
We are looking for an innovative SEN Teacher who can deliver high-quality, differentiated teaching that meets the diverse needs of our learners. You will be responsible for planning creative and engaging lessons, supporting personal development, and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure every pupil has the opportunity to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver lessons that are tailored to the individual learning styles and needs of pupils

Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment

Develop and implement EHCP targets and personalised learning plans

Lead a team of teaching assistants to support pupil progress and wellbeing

Work closely with families, therapists, and other professionals to provide a holistic approach to education
What We’re Looking For:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Primary, Secondary or Special Education
-
Experience working with children or young people with SEND, particularly autism and learning difficulties
-
A creative and flexible approach to curriculum design and delivery
-
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and engage
-
A reflective, empathetic, and resilient practitioner with a growth mindset
