Do you have a passion for supporting children with special educational needs in a mainstream primary school setting?
I am working with an 'Good' mainstream primary school based within Tower Hamlets, they looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive and welcoming team to support children from year 1 - Year 6 with SEND. The children you will support will have a variety of needs which often include ASD, SLCN (Speech, Language and Communication Needs), global delay and learning disabilities and will vary between moderate to severe, this can sometimes include some challenging behaviour born out of a frustration to communicate verbally.

Desired Experience
- SEND Experience of sensory circuits, bucket time, core boards, now & next boards
- Confident/theatre/music background
- PMLD, SLD, ASC and dysregulated behaviour
- Degree within Psychology, Social Science, criminology
- Level 3 in Health Care/Childcare
- Primary School experience
