SEN Learning Support Assistant – Special School - Newham Location: Newham, London Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: £450 - £500 a week PAYE Are you passionate about supporting young people with autism and communication needs to reach their full potential? Parker Smith Inclusion are working with an outstanding specialist school, that is part of a larger trust they are seeking SEN Learning Support Assistants to join their team. The provision supports up to 25 students, aged from secondary to post-16, who follow a subject-specific curriculum designed to develop independence and life skills alongside academic qualifications. About the School Located in the heart of Newham, the provision is purpose-built to meet the needs of our formal ASC learners. Facilities include: Large classrooms for subject-based learning. Therapy and common rooms for social, therapeutic, and life skills development. A fully equipped kitchen for practical learning. Outdoor spaces with a gym, sunken trampoline, covered area, and horticulture planters. Students are supported to develop independence, gain ASDAN qualifications (E1–L2), and access enriching educational visits through excellent transport links. Your Role As a SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will: Provide tailored support to students with autism and communication needs, helping them access the curriculum and develop life skills.
