What you'll do:

  • Support pupils with special educational needs in and out of the classroom
  • Work closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff to deliver personalised learning
  • Help create a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment
  • Foster positive relationships and encourage social, emotional, and academic growth
  • Provide 1:1 or small group support tailored to individual needs

  • Has a passion for supporting children with SEN, particularly Autism
  • Is patient, resilient, and a great team player
  • Can communicate clearly and calmly with children and adults alike
  • Has experience working in a special school or SEN setting (desirable but not essential) but experience with Autism
