We here at Parker Smith are currently working with brilliant Mainstream Primary and Secondary Schools as well as wonderful, Specialist SEND School's , SEMH settings and PRU'S, that are seeking SEND Specialists to support students on a 1:1 basis or small groups.

An example of this is a young person with previous low school attendance, multiple exclusions, PTSD, and extremely aggressive behaviour. After being assigned a specialist mentor and working together, this young person has now transitioned to a specialist school, has a 93% attendance record, is part of restorative groups helping him to process his trauma and is thriving with a bespoke curriculum.

Are you currently working in a school Speech and Language Therapy team and looking for a change or progression?
Do you have experience in Paediatric Speech and Language Therapy and looking for a role in which to specialise working with children?
Are you a confident and motivated Band 5 or an emerging Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist who would like to work within schools in either a part-time or full-time capacity?
Parker Smith Inclusion is currently partnered with a group of special schools looking to expand their Therapy offer. The schools cater for students for SEND, predominately Autism, you have the chance to work with students of all ages from 3-16 with a range of needs.
As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will provide direct clinical care, which will encompass Speech and Language Therapy assessments, treatment and management of needs extended to life outside of school. You will assess, implement and develop treatment programmes according to diagnosis and identified needs.
Responsible for: Delivery of Speech and Language Therapy within school settings across 3 SEN schools in East London.
Candidate should be/have:
A registered Speech and Language Therapist with the HCPC (Health Care Professions Council) or registration n process.
Paediatric experience.
A passion for working in Paediatric Speech and Language Therapy.
An understanding of Speech and Language Therapy process/interventions.
Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills.
Resilience and an ability to manage difficult situations.
