About the Role

SEND Teaching Assistant 

Secondary School

Core subject support 

 

Do you wish to support secondary children with SEND within their lessons, supporting them 1:1 or in small groups, providing interventions? Do you want to gain hands-on experience supporting children with SEND while working towards a career in teaching, clinical psychology or child psychology? If so, this role is the perfect first step. You can gain first-hand experience with children and young people with additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, ODD, and complex learning needs.

There will be teaching responsibilities one day a week in this role so outstanding teaching can be modelled.
