You’re a thoughtful, organised practitioner with substantial paediatric experience, ideally including work with autism, neurodevelopmental needs and complex communication profiles. You are HCPC-registered band 6 or a band 5 therapist progressing toward band 6, confident with assessment, differential diagnosis and evidence-based intervention. What the role involves: • Supporting secondary-aged pupils with varied communication needs, including those with autism and complex profiles. • Working closely within a dedicated SALT team including a therapy assistant and SALT lead who value collaboration, shared problem-solving and professional support. • Stepping into an established role with a full handover, giving you continuity and the foundation to build on existing good practice. • Delivering targeted intervention, contributing to EHCP outcomes and modelling communication strategies that empower staff across the school.
