The children you’ll support are all living with profound and multiple learning disabilities — many are non-verbal, use wheelchairs, and have significant sensory and medical needs. All children at this school have EHCPs and have a diagnosis relating to their Social, Emotional and Mental Health. As a Learning Mentor, your role would consist of supporting students both inside and outside of the classroom. You would focus on breaking down barriers to young people’s learning so that they can reach their full potential. SEN Teaching Assistant MS Primary Hackney September 2025 start - Long Term Role PAYE Payments only £90 - £95 per day A MS Primary School in the heart of Hackney, a short walk from Homerton station are seeking multiple SEN Teaching Assistants across Year 1 - 6 starting in September 25. This school prides themselves on their academic level for their students therefore all candidates are expected to be academic, professional and able to support confidently within lessons, you also need to have proven experience supporting children with ADHD, ASC and learning difficulties with the confidence to intervene physically if required.
