What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting pupils with Autism to engage, learn, and thrive in the classroom
- Using creative strategies (visual tools, routines, sensory regulation techniques) to remove barriers to learning
- Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils - celebrating their wins, however big or small
- Collaborating closely with teachers, SENCOs, and families to create personalised learning journeys
- Helping to create a calm, structured, and positive environment where every child feels safe and supported
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience supporting children or young people with Autism (school-based or transferable experience)
- A warm, patient, and proactive approach
- Someone who genuinely gets the importance of consistency, communication, and compassion
- Knowledge of ASC strategies such as PECS, TEACCH, social stories, or sensory-based support
- An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one)
Why Join Us?
- You’ll have a dedicated recruiter who knows the school inside out
- Competitive daily pay that reflects your experience
- Ongoing training, free CPD, and opportunities to specialise further
- Supportive placements that prioritise staff wellbeing
- Long-term roles with real potential to go permanent
