BSL Level 2 Teaching Assistant

Do you have BSL level 2 or above and have a passion for supporting deaf children with their learning and communication need?

I am actively seeking an experienced TA/LSA with BSL Level 2 for a specialist deaf school in Camden.

What you can expect as a CSW – BSL specialist TA / LSA

  • Experience of working in a specialist school for the D/deaf
  • To be part of a fantastic deaf support team who run a variety of deaf awareness events including BSL recognition week and many more
  • Being part of wider school community with a commitment to signing
  • Excellent experience and training for aspiring Teachers and of the deaf, SEN Teachers and Speech and language Therapists

CSW BSL Specialist TA/LSA requirements:

  • BSL Level 2 (Signature or iBSL accredited qualification).
  • Ideally manual handling training knowledge/experience
  • Good level of fluency
  • Passionate about inclusion

Although experience supporting children specialist deaf schools/provisions/ is certainly beneficial I would also love to hear from individuals who hold BSL level 2 and are looking to take their first step into education settings so please get in touch!
