About the Role
Are you a qualified English teacher looking for a meaningful and rewarding challenge? Parker Smith Inclusion is working with an all-through PRU in Redbridge to find a dedicated and enthusiastic English teacher to support KS3 and KS4 students.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and student-centred English lessons for KS3 and KS4.
- Build strong relationships with students to help them develop confidence and a love of learning.
- Support the development of essential literacy skills, helping students achieve their academic goals.
- Work closely with a team of dedicated professionals to ensure every student receives the support they need.
About You
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and experience teaching English at secondary level.
- A compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to working with students who may feel disengaged from education.
- A strong commitment to inclusion and helping students overcome barriers to learning.
What’s On Offer
- Salary: M1 to UPS2, depending on experience.
- Hours: Full-time (Monday to Friday), term-time only.

Deliver and adapt interventions including Attention Autism, Lego Therapy, Speech & Language support, and regulation strategies
Support children across Reception to Year 5, focusing mainly on younger year groups
✅ Who We’re Looking For:
Experience working with SEN pupils in either an SEN school or a mainstream primary setting
Confident managing complex needs and adapting quickly in challenging situations
A calm, flexible, and solution-focused individual with a genuine love for working with children
Ideally Team Teach trained (or open to completing the training)
🎯 Ideal Candidate:
Brings strong SEN knowledge and can work independently as well as part of a supportive team
Understands the importance of communication strategies, engagement models, and pre-verbal learners
Can confidently liaise with the SENCO, suggest strategies, and implement them
May have ambitions for career progression, including routes into teacher training in the future

We are excited to partner with a leading Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Essex, which is currently looking for a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. This setting caters to both primary and secondary pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, focusing on nurturing their growth and helping them develop into confident, well-rounded individuals.
