About the Role

Higher Level Teaching Assistant 

Mainstream School with a Specialist Provision

A mainstream primary school based in Islington that looking for a dedicated and experienced HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) or Unqualified Teacher to join their specialist provision team, supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about inclusive education and looking to make a real impact in a small nurturing setting. 

About the Role:

  • Working with a small group of 8 pupils in a specialist provision 

  • Supporting students with a range of SEND 

  • Supported by 2 other experienced adults in the classroom

  • Providing trailered support across KS1 and KS2 with SEND

  • Helping to deliver engaging, structured learning activities

What the School are Looking for:

  •  Experience working with children with SEND

  • Confident managing a classroom and delivering structured learning 

  • Able to work part of a supportive team

  • Bring a nurturing, calm and consistent approach
