Do you have experience working 1:1 with secondary-aged students who need tailored, personal support? We’re working closely with a local tutoring provider that specialises in supporting students who struggle to access the mainstream curriculum. These learners may be facing a range of challenges, including mental health difficulties, autism, ADHD, and other additional needs. This is a unique and rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a young person’s life by offering personalised support in a community-based setting. 🔹 Role details: – One-to-one tutoring for secondary-aged students – Flexible hours: minimum of 3 hours per day, up to 5 days per week – Hourly rate: £15–£30, based on experience – Sessions take place out in the community (not school-based), so access to a car and a full UK driving licence is essential You must have: ✔ Experience supporting secondary-aged learners on a 1:1 basis ✔ The ability to build strong, positive relationships with young people ✔ Confidence working independently while being part of a wider supportive network ✔ A flexible, compassionate approach and an understanding of diverse needs This role is ideal for mentors, LSAs, tutors, youth workers or teaching assistants with a background in SEN or alternative provision, looking for a more flexible and impactful way to work.

In September, the school will be launching a brand-new specialist provision and pathway tailored to meet the needs of students with dysregulated behaviour and mild learning difficulties. To support the opening of this new provision, the school is seeking inspirational, resilient, and experienced SEN Teachers to join their expanding team on a full-time, permanent basis. About the Provision: This new initiative will support students presenting with a range of additional needs, primarily those with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges alongside mild to moderate learning difficulties. The focus will be on personalised learning, structured behaviour support, and creating a nurturing, consistent environment where pupils can succeed both academically and emotionally.
