An established and highly respected Special Educational Needs school located in the heart of Thurrock is embarking on an exciting phase of growth. In September, the school will be launching a brand-new specialist provision and pathway tailored to meet the needs of students with dysregulated behaviour and mild learning difficulties.
To support the opening of this new provision, the school is seeking inspirational, resilient, and experienced SEN Teachers to join their expanding team on a full-time, permanent basis.
About the Provision:
This new initiative will support students presenting with a range of additional needs, primarily those with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges alongside mild to moderate learning difficulties. The focus will be on personalised learning, structured behaviour support, and creating a nurturing, consistent environment where pupils can succeed both academically and emotionally.

We are particularly interested in teachers who:
Have proven experience working with students with dysregulated behaviour, SEMH needs, and/or learning difficulties.
Demonstrate exceptional classroom and behaviour management strategies.
Possess a calm, confident, and emotionally intelligent teaching style that is not easily phased by challenging situations.
Are committed to fostering a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment.
Are excited about being part of a new team and contributing to the development of an innovative provision.
Show ambition and leadership potential, with opportunities to grow into middle management and pathway leadership roles.
What the School Offers:
A brand-new provision with state-of-the-art facilities and a forward-thinking curriculum.
A collaborative, supportive leadership team who are passionate about professional development.
Opportunities to progress into leadership positions as the provision and school continue to grow.
A community-focused setting where staff and students are valued, supported, and inspired.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Experience in special education, particularly with SEMH or dysregulation, is highly desirable.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Application Process:
Interviews will be held on a rolling basis and may be scheduled immediately for strong applicants. Early application is highly encouraged to avoid disappointment.
