Are you a recent Psychology graduate looking to gain hands-on experience working with children and young people? Are you considering a career in education, psychology, or therapy?

We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and empathetic Psychology graduates to work in Barnet primary and secondary schools, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health needs.

About the Role

As a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support individual pupils or small groups in the classroom.
  • Help implement tailored support plans under the guidance of SENCOs and class teachers.
  • Foster emotional regulation and positive learning behaviours.
  • Gain invaluable experience for careers in educational psychology, teaching, or mental health.

Requirements

  • A degree in Psychology (or related subject).

We are working with a special school in Camden seeking a Year 6 Teacher to join their supportive team. You will be responsible for teaching a small class of 7 pupils, all on the autism spectrum, with varying abilities - some working below national curriculum levels, and some engaging with elements of KS1 curriculum. You will work alongside 2 support staff to deliver a tailored, engaging curriculum that meets each child’s individual needs.
