We are working with a SEMH school based in North East London who are seeking an experienced teacher who is resilient and hard working.This role is within a brand new class and has the support of experienced TAs to support the teacher. This role will be teaching students in year 8 & 9 but will be delivering year 6 primary curriculum, so is important the successful candidate has some primary experience.

Main Duties:

  • To plan lessons and teach primary curriculum 
  • Responsibility for tracking pupil progress and monitoring to support teaching and learning
  • Deliver dynamic and creative lessons
  • Built positive relationships with students, parents and carers
  • Experience supporting students with challenging behaviour and social, emotional and mental health

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Unqualified and proven experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A strong sense of empathy, patience, and resilience, with the ability to remain calm and focused in challenging situations
