Make a Difference in an Autism Provision
Are you a qualified teacher with experience supporting students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)?
Parker Smith Inclusion is working with a wonderful primary school in Epping Forest seeking a teacher for their autism provision (ARP). In this role, you will teach a small class of students, supported by two SEN teaching assistants, using play-based and activity-based learning.
The school is well-resourced and provides a supportive environment, with a headteacher who values staff wellbeing and ensures everyone has the guidance and support they need. It’s a friendly, welcoming school that truly feels like a family.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading a class within the school’s autism provision (ARP) for pupils aged 4–11.
- Working alongside two experienced SEND teaching assistants to support students’ learning and development.
- Delivering lessons through play-based and activity-based approaches, tailored to meet the needs of your pupils.
- Participating in continued professional development to enhance your skills and expertise.
