Are you a mainstream teacher that wants to take the plunge into SEND Teaching? 

Do you want the ability to meet each child's individual needs as you're teaching a smaller class? 

Is your specialism supporting students with autism? 

Parker Smith Inclusion are in partnership with SEND schools in Newham and one of their sites in North Woolwich are in need of a SEND teacher to start in January 2026 to support a small class of 5 pupils that have autism and complex needs, these students are KS2 age however are learning from a lower level (EYFS & KS1), most of the lesson preparations will be through play, sensory based or using interventions to keep them engaged in learning. 

This school is fantastic for supporting mainstream teachers start their journey into SEND teaching as they have an experienced team with supportive staff members that only want to see others succeed.

This school caters to children with a wide range of learning difficulties, Autism/ASC, and complex needs. Do you have a qualification within EYFS/Childcare? Would you be confident to support children that have special needs? Parker Smith Inclusion are working in partnership with a MS Primary school based in East Ham, this is a small 2 form entry school that have a nursery on site and they are recieving new referrals throughout the academic year. They are looking for a TA that can support a young child with down syndrome within the nursery, your day will consist of working 1:1 with the child supporting them with early years learning such as; phonics, bucket time, picture communication cards, sensory learning and learning through play (messy/water play) . You will need to be an energetic, creative person with lots of personality to be playful with the child and understand that they will be looking to you as their immediate support in any scenario.
