Are you an Early Years specialist looking to transition into a mainstream school with a nursery?
Do you have a qualification within EYFS/Childcare?
Would you be confident to support children that have special needs?
Parker Smith Inclusion are working in partnership with a MS Primary school based in East Ham, this is a small 2 form entry school that have a nursery on site and they are recieving new referrals throughout the academic year.
They are looking for a TA that can support a young child with down syndrome within the nursery, your day will consist of working 1:1 with the child supporting them with early years learning such as; phonics, bucket time, picture communication cards, sensory learning and learning through play (messy/water play) .
You will need to be an energetic, creative person with lots of personality to be playful with the child and understand that they will be looking to you as their immediate support in any scenario.
