Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist – SEMH School, Vauxhall Location: Vauxhall, London Contract: Full-time / Term-time Salary: NHS Band 6 equivalent About the Role Are you a passionate Speech and Language Therapist looking to make a real difference? We’re working in partnership with a specialist SEMH school in Vauxhall to support young people with complex communication needs. This is a unique opportunity to work in a therapeutic, nurturing school environment, where you will help pupils develop the communication skills they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. You will work closely with a supportive multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based therapy tailored to each child’s needs. What You’ll Be Doing Assess and identify pupils’ speech, language, and communication needs. Plan and deliver individual and group therapy sessions. Coach and advise school staff on embedding communication strategies across the school day. Collaborate with teachers, pastoral leads, psychologists, and occupational therapists to provide holistic support. Support the creation and review of EHCPs through assessment and reporting. Monitor and evaluate pupils’ progress, adapting therapy plans as needed. What We’re Looking For HCPC-registered Speech and Language Therapist. Experience supporting children and young people with SEMH or neurodevelopmental needs (e.g., ASC, ADHD). Confident in applying trauma-informed and therapeutic approaches. Strong communicator and team player, able to work independently within a school setting. Reflective, motivated, and committed to making a positive impact. Location: Croydon Start Date: ASAP Contract: Full-time, long-term We are proud to be working in partnership with a highly supportive Specialist SEMH School that provides tailored education for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Every child in the school has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), and the school is dedicated to helping each pupil achieve their full potential through a nurturing, relationship-based approach. We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurture Teacher to work with a small Year 9 group, delivering a creative, flexible, and trauma-informed curriculum. The ideal candidate will understand the importance of emotional regulation, attachment-informed practice, and consistency in building trust with learners. 1:1 Learning Support Assistant Location: Brixton Contract: Long term – full time Start Date: September 2025 Salary: PAYE We are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school to recruit a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to support a child in Reception with an EHCP. The child has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), speech and language delay, and some signs of dyspraxia. They are a delightful pupil who responds well to calm, consistent guidance and support throughout the day.
