Are you an experienced band 5/6 Speech and Language Therapist looking to become part of a multidisciplinary therapy team for a SEND school?
I am looking for a band 5/6 Speech and Language Therapist to become part of a permanent multidisciplinary therapy team based in a beautiful SEND school specialising in ASD and complex needs.
Main responsibilities for Speech and Language Therapist role:
Assessment and intervention planning
Group and individual therapy as required
Working within classes and providing consultative support as part of the multi-disciplinary team
Development and implementation of training for staff and other professionals
Curriculum development
Report writing and record keeping
Requirements for Speech and Language Therapists
Highly motivated, passionate, dynamic and flexible
Understands the value of using an ABA methodology
Wants to grow with the school and become a fully immersed member of the team
Has relevant experience of working with young people with special needs, especially autism spectrum disorder
Has highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
Is RCSLT and HCPC registered or working towards this
Hold a Bachelors or Masters's Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.

Do you have experience working with young people who are not able to attend mainstream school and have a background of behavioural challenges? Are you keen to make a difference to the lives of children and young people whilst building your experience and furthering your career in SEND/SEMH?
I am actively seeking engaging and passionate Learning Mentors for schools that provide education to children who are unable to be educated in a mainstream school due to behaviour difficulties and SEMH. I am looking to speak to professional and committed Learning Mentors to work in a variety of settings in East London
Even if your experience is informal/voluntary, I want to hear from you! The children you will support will have a variety of needs which can include significant complex behaviour challenges and sometimes associated SEND.
SEMH Education Settings
We are looking for Learning Mentors for a variety of SEMH specialist settings including Pupil Referral Units, SEMH specialist schools, CAHMS Education services, Behaviour provisions within mainstream settings and Local Authority outreach teams.
We support Education providers that educate children and young people who for many reasons cannot access any other formal educational settings – these are the most vulnerable, at risk and hard to reach in our community. Understanding their SEMH needs must be met before any academic development can happen. Understanding their SEMH needs is essential in these roles and we are seeking individuals who can make a positive impact.
Learning Mentor requirements:
● Experience of working with young people with SEND and/or Autism, ADHD, sensory processing difficulties and learning difficulties or experience with SEMH, Trauma, Sensory processing, social communication
● Learning Mentor / Youth Worker experience
● Ability to build strong and meaningful relationships
● A passion for working with SEND is essential

One of our schools is looking to appoint a Behaviour Mentor to join them on a full-time permanent contract basis in January. This is a term-only position, with a salary of £100 per day. School hours are 8:30am until 4pm.
Secondary age students thrive in their purpose-built classroom hub and require an experienced, nurturing and strong-willed Behaviour Mentor to support them.
For secondary students, they provide a rich curriculum covering core subjects alongside exciting vocational courses. From barbering and construction to horticulture, hospitality, and motor vehicle studies, there are ample opportunities for growth and exploration.
