We are working with a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) based in Central London that caters for students from primary to year 11 across two sites,. The school provides short- and long-term placements for young people unable to attend mainstream education due to behavioural, social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, as well as additional diagnoses such as ASC and ADHD. They are seeking a Wellbeing and Safeguarding Officer to join their team, delivering 1:1 and small group mentoring interventions to students in Key Stage 3. The ideal candidate will already have experience mentoring and supporting young people with behavioural, social and emotional needs. Key Responsibilities: Deliver targeted intervention and mentoring sessions to support emotional well-being and behaviour. Build positive relationships to help students develop resilience and coping strategies. Work with staff and external agencies to create personalised support plans. Monitor progress and encourage engagement in learning. Requirements: Experience working with young people with SEMH needs or in a PRU/SEN setting.
