Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs?
We are working with a specialist SEMH and ASC school seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic primary teacher to join their SEMH provision. They work across two provisions, which are between primary and secondary catering for students with Social, Emotional and Mental health needs, behavioural needs, ASC and ADHD. This role is teaching at their primary provision supporting them to thrive academically and emotionally.
About the role:

Deliver high-quality, personalised teaching to pupils with SEMH needs in the primary key stages.

Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary teams to create supportive learning environments.

Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs and promote emotional well-being.

Support pupils in developing resilience, confidence, and essential life skills.

Engage with families and carers as part of a holistic approach to pupil development.
The requirements for the role:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience working in SEMH and/or ASC settings.

Understanding of the complex needs of children with SEMH.

Patient, flexible, and creative with a passion for specialist education.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Commitment to ongoing professional development and inclusion.
