About the Role
ASC Teacher
SEND School
MPS–UPS3 Outer London
Full-time Temp to Perm
Working as a primary school teacher, your days will be full of purpose. You already know that understanding and relationships matter. Creating a safe and supportive environment for children to thrive takes patience, skill, and empathy, yet in a mainstream classroom, the children with the highest needs can often be overlooked. You’re spread too thin. You may feel you’re losing sight of the reason you became a teacher in the first place. Perhaps it’s time for a role where you can truly make a difference.
We are working with a specialist provision supporting children with Autism, who may find mainstream education overwhelming or unsuitable. They are looking for a compassionate, grounded, and resilient ASC Teacher to join their primary setting. Pupils here deserve consistency, understanding, and educators who see beyond behaviour to the child underneath.
This is a place where class sizes are small allowing relationships to flourish. Where success is measured not only by academic progress but by trust built, confidence restored, and milestones celebrated. Where each child follows a curriculum tailored to their individual strengths, challenges, and emotional needs.
You may already have experience supporting pupils with ASC. You may simply have the heart for it. The calm, curiosity, flexibility, and belief that every child can thrive when they feel safe is what matters most.
What truly counts is your understanding that behaviour is communication, your creativity in teaching, and your willingness to be part of a team that never gives up on their pupils.
If you are ready for a role that challenges, grows, and rewards you in equal measure—and gives you the chance to change a child’s story, we would love to hear from you.
