Location: London Borough of Wandsworth
Pay: in line with Inner London Main Pay Scale,
Requirement: Qualified Teacher - QTS, QTLS Holder or within four year allowance

If you are an experienced Drama Teacher looking for a new challenge, this could be the role for you!
We are working with a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) based in Wandsworth, South West London, who are looking for a Drama Teacher to join their fantastic team. The school offers education to students at a secondary age who are not able to attend mainstream education. The needs of the students include challenging behaviour, social, emotional and mental health needs and other additional SEN.
The role
- Teaching in a setting with a likeminded and supportive team
- Teaching students Drama who have challenging behaviour and SEMH needs
- Building strong and meaningful relationships
- Able to deliver the Drama curriculum to key stage 3 & 4
- To offer a therapeutic teaching approach
- Long-term to permanent opportunities
Requirements
- Successful completion of teacher training is a must
- Proven experience of teaching the Drama Curriculum
- Experience teaching within a PRU or mainstream school supporting challenging behaviour
