We are working with a fantastic SEND College to find someone to be a HLTA working ages 16 to 25 with a diagnosis of Autism. Within this role, you will work as a leading part of a Teaching Assistant Team, covering lessons and providing guidance to teaching assistants. This is an amazing opportunity with lots of training from external and internal sources, alongside opportunities to gain experience working with various needs. The role is extremely rewarding with the goal to get students into employment, with each student doing some form of work placement once a week, with on site careers advisors as well as other facilities to support them. Within the role you will teach 6 to 8 students with a class ages 16 to 25, with a Teaching Assistant supporting each student 1:1. The college is extremely supportive, providing lots of training and support to staff, as well as having a bespoke and rewarding curriculum looking to promote student’s independence and to get them into employment. SEND Lecturer Monday to Friday (4 days teaching, 1 day PPA) £160 to £250 a day (PAYE) South London - Southwark Immediate or September 2025 Start Available Are you looking for a rewarding role teaching SEND students with support, caring management and a bespoke environment? We are working with a fantastic SEND School to find a teacher to teach a class of 6 to 8 students with Autism and PMLD needs whilst supported by several SEND Teaching Assistants. The role would involve leading a class working with a mixture of ages between 16 to 25, working at different levels. The role would be teaching four days a week with the fifth day dedicated to PPA and training. The lecturer in question would may assist in some of the curriculum development – which revolves mainly around independent living, health and relationships. The team at the school are extremely supportive and training is provided to staff by external and internal teams such as the onsite therapists. Additionally on-site parking is available for those looking to drive to the school. This is an extremely rewarding role, with the college having multiple types of pathways for students and aims to get students in a position to either live independently or go into a working environment.
