Are you a SEND Teacher looking for a new and exciting position, or a mainstream Teacher seeking a new and rewarding career working within SEND?

We are working with a fantastic school in South East London Borough of Southwark to fill the position of SEND Teacher within a mainstream school in their ARP. The students at the school range from ages 5-11. The school encourage learning through arts and crafts and student’s interests in things like cars or football. This is to teach life skills to the students to help with their educational and personal development. Within this role, you will be supported by LSAs and have access to various facilities and resources to help you provide students with the best lessons possible. The school is known to be an amazing place to work, with supportive staff, great students and a reputation for staff staying for years due to enjoying their roles so much. 

Requirements of an SEN Teacher:

  • SEND qualifications or experience
  • To work and support students with a diagnosis of Autism
  • To observe, assess and support students in their personal and educational development
  • To work alongside Management, SENCO’s and other faculty
  • To be prepared to offer advice to parents and work with them to support their child.

SEND Lecturer Monday to Friday (4 days teaching, 1 day PPA) £160 to £250 a day (PAYE) South London - Southwark Immediate or September 2025 Start Available Are you looking for a rewarding role teaching SEND students with support, caring management and a bespoke environment? We are working with a fantastic SEND School to find a teacher to teach a class of 6 to 8 students with Autism and PMLD needs whilst supported by several SEND Teaching Assistants. The role would involve leading a class working with a mixture of ages between 16 to 25, working at different levels. The role would be teaching four days a week with the fifth day dedicated to PPA and training. The lecturer in question would may assist in some of the curriculum development – which revolves mainly around independent living, health and relationships. The team at the school are extremely supportive and training is provided to staff by external and internal teams such as the onsite therapists. Additionally on-site parking is available for those looking to drive to the school.
