Your Role as a SEN Teaching Assistant You will join a skilled and caring team that takes pride in delivering holistic, person-centred education. Your daily tasks may include: Supporting students with Autism, SLD, and PMLD during lessons, breaks, and activities Encouraging communication using Makaton, PECS, or AAC devices (full training will be provided) Assisting with personal care, feeding routines, and hydrotherapy sessions in the on-site pool Creating a safe, calm, and positive classroom environment where all students can thrive Building consistent and trusting relationships with the young people in your care You need a willingness to learn, a kind nature, and a calm, resilient presence.
