1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant - Kingston upon Thames

- Position: 1:1 Teaching Assistant
- Location: Kingston Upon Thames, South West London / Surrey
- Working Hours: 8:30am - 4pm
- Contract: Full-time, Term Time Only
- Salary: £90 - £100 PAYE Per Day; Weekly Payment
- Start Date: ASAP Start
We are seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to provide one-to-one support for a small group of children who have additional needs and associated learning difficulties. As a SEN specialist, you will be moving to different classes throughout the day. Your role will involve building a trusting and supportive relationship, facilitating children's access to education, and supporting their emotional and academic needs. This is to start immediately on a full-time basis (term time only).
Requirements:
- Strong background and knowledge in SEN, particularly in Autism / ASC, ADHD, and complex behavioural challenges
- Experience working with young people with Autism and related conditions
- Ability to cultivate a nurturing, patient, and understanding environment
- Skill in developing meaningful and supportive relationships with students
- Commitment to ensuring the well-being and academic progress of the student
