Are you confident working with students that may display challenging behaviour? 

Would you like to make a positive impact by supporting a Year 7 or 8 student within their academic journey? 

About the School and 1:1 Teaching Assistant  opportunity

The Secondary School is based in the London Borough of Hackney and boast about there strong structure, relationships and creative support. They are looking for a 1:1 TAs to support a Year 7 student or a Year 8 Student (2 roles available) that are having some concerns around their mental health and have ADHD, they will need support to keep engaged within lessons as they're in a crucial time of their Secondary School experience. 

1:1 Teaching Assistant  requirements

  • Passionate about supporting students with SEND
  • Behaviour management experience 
  • Confident & pro-active 
  • Able to communicate clearly and precisely 
  • Committed to personal development and learning specialist skills
  • Ability to be a team player and build rapport quickly
  • Experience with ADHD, SEMH and Secondary is required
