Are you a teacher looking for a new opportunity to teach in an additionally resourced provision?
I am working alongside a mainstream secondary school based in North London that is seeking a strong teacher to join its welcoming and diverse team to teach in its Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP). The students have a range of special needs and some will present with challenging behaviour.
Teacher Requirements
- Qualified Teacher
- Experienced teaching and supporting young people with SEND
- Lead the teaching in an inclusive unit
- Teach a arrange of subjects across key stages 4 & 5
- Positive role model to support communication, with a sensitive, nurturing, and consistent approach
- Ability to build strong and meaningful relationships with vulnerable students
- Experience working with disengaged teenagers is desirable
