ASD Teaching Assistant

I am working with an excellent special needs school who are seeking a passionate and dedicated ASD Teaching Assistant to start a Permanent Role working 1:1 with a Teenage girl with complex needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking to gain practical and clinical experience working with either primary or secondary-aged students in a  1:1 setting.

What you can expect as an ASD Teaching Assistant 

  • Continued Professional Development as an ASD Secondary Teaching Assistant – This school has 5x more CPD than their surrounding schools
  • A Permanent contract
  • To work in a highly reputable large special needs school

ASD Teaching Assistant requirements

  • Do you have  a passion for working with young people who require additional support in order to access education and social development
  • As the ASD Teaching assistant you must have previous experience working within SEN
  • A proactive and positive individual who is always striving to meet children's learning needs.
  • Ability to build rapport with children
