What the school has to offer the students:
The school's provision and curriculum are underpinned by communication and a positive behaviour-based model. It includes therapeutic approaches and sensory integration and supports students to access the core and wider curriculum and understand their world.
They can offer a structured, integrated therapy package to support pupils’ and students’ progress in line with their EHCP.
They provide the following therapies onsite:
- Speech and Language Therapy (SALT)
- Occupational Therapy (OT)
- Canine Assisted Learning (CAL)
- Dramatherapy
The Principle leads a team of specialist teachers, specialist assistants, therapists and support staff to enable the delivery of teaching and learning in the classroom of a broad and balanced curriculum appropriate to the developmental needs of children in relation to their age and phase of education. Each class will be managed by a class teacher, supported by one or two permanent teaching assistants depending on class dynamics.
