A brand-new, purpose-built Special School in East London is searching for a qualified, confident, and ambitious Autism SEN Teacher to join the team. This school provides care and education to children with Autism and Complex Needs predominantly as well as various other learning difficulties. It is a fantastic purpose-built site undergoing transformation into a school with a range of quality facilities for sensory learners. Working as part of a Trust that functions across East London and Essex, this school boasts incredible development and training opportunities that could see you go all the way up to Assistant Head Teacher.

Requirements of an Autism SEN Teacher:

  • SEND qualifications or experience
  • To work and support students with a diagnosis of Autism through play-based and activity-based learning
  • To observe, assess and support students in their personal and educational development
  • To work alongside Management, SENCO’s and other faculty
  • To be prepared to offer advice to parents and work with them to support their child.

The ideal candidate should be a qualified teacher seeking the opportunity to work with children with complex needs and various learning difficulties and autism.
