We are working with many fantastic schools to find a teacher to support students with additional needs long term. We work with schools which specialise in SEND, such as Autism or Complex needs,  to schools which focus on students excluded from mainstream education or have trauma and are looking for professionals to help them overcome barriers to learning and personal development. Every role is rewarding, and we would look to have you stay at the school long-term with you becoming a permanent member of staff after two terms, with some schools looking to have you become permanent staff straight away. Requirements of an Autism SEND Teacher:

  • Previous SEND experience
  • To work and support students with an EHCP (Educational Health and Care Plan)
  • To observe, assess and support students in their personal and educational development
  • To work alongside Management, SENCO’s and other faculty
  • To be prepared to offer advice to parents and work with them to support their child
