Do you have a passion and talent for supporting children and young people with social, emotional and mental health disorders?
Do you have experience working as a Secondary Behaviour/Learning Mentor with young people who cannot attend mainstream school and have a background of behavioural challenges?
We are working with a with a Mainstream School in Wandsworth who are seeking a strong Behaviour Mentor to join their expanding team and work with children.
Requirements
- Experience of working with young people with challenging behaviour and ASD, Even if your experience is informal/voluntary, I want to hear from you! The children you will support will have a variety of needs which can include significant complex behaviour challenges and sometimes associated SEND.
- Learning Mentor / Youth Worker experience / Behaviour Mentor
- This role will be working 121 with children with Special Educational Needs - mainly challenging behaviour
- Ability to build strong and meaningful relationships
- A passion for working with SEND is essential
