Behaviour Mentors – East London - £90-£100 Per day PAYE

Do you have a passion and talent for supporting children and young people with high-functioning Autism and mental health disorders?

Do you have experience working with young people who are not able to attend mainstream school and have a diagnosis of Autism and a background of behavioural challenges?

Are you keen to make a difference to the lives of children and young people whilst building your experience and furthering your career in SEND/SEMH?

I am actively seeking engaging and passionate Behaviour Mentors for schools that provide education to children who are unable to be educated in a mainstream school due to Autism Spectrum Condition and behaviour difficulties. I am looking to speak to professional and committed Behaviour Mentors to work in a variety of settings in East London

Ideally having experience working within SEMH or PRU setting would be preference but if your experience is informal/voluntary, I want to hear from you! The children you will support will have a variety of needs which can include significant complex behaviour challenges and ASC.

Behaviour Mentor requirements:

  • Experience of working with young people with Autism, ADHD, sensory processing difficulties and learning difficulties or experience with SEMH, Trauma, Sensory processing, social communication
  • SEMH school or PRU experience
  • Ability to build strong and meaningful relationships
  • A passion for working with SEND is essential

What you can expect as a Behaviour Mentor:

  • Excellent experience and training for aspiring Teachers, Pastoral workers, Child Psychologists, Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Counsellors, and Social Workers
